Do you work on Public Holidays?
Yes, our garage door repair services are available every day of the year – even Christmas Day. Please be aware that there is a surcharge for services on public holidays so it is generally reserved for emergency repairs and services.
Can I add a motor to my existing garage door?
The answer is probably yes. We can motorise almost all existing garage doors. There are a couple of exceptions though so please give us a call and we\’ll give you a definite answer.
Can I install a new garage door myself?
Installing a garage door should only be attempted by a professional door technician. Apart from the potential danger with DIY installation it is also likely to void any warranty associated with the new door and or motor. When Hi-Tech Doors completes your installation, your product warranty remains intact and our workmanship is gauranteed for a minimum of 3 months.
What payment methods do Hi-Tech Doors accept?
We accept payment by cash or EFTPOS (excluding Diners and AMEX). Technicians carry a mobile EFTPOS system so payment can be made to the technician on completion of your service.
Can you do Insurance Work?
Yes we can do insurance work. We can provide you with a quote to pass on to your insurance company. Please make sure the repairs are covered and approved by your insurance company as we require payment on completion of the work. We find the easiest way to complete insurance work is for the business or home owner to pay for the repairs with the insurance company paying the owner of the premises in a separate transaction.
